However I do agree that it may well be difficult to traverse a turret fast enough. In a perfect, static example, the simplest method is to lay the gun on and wait for the target to drive onto the &#039;X&#039;, sometimes known as the ambush method. When the firer and target are moving its much more difficult. With small arms the method is to &#039;swing through&#039; the target, obviously not possible with a tank gun with 40s technology.
